The "Good Works Ministry" is a
Christian service group of the Living Faith
Bible Church. It offers participants the
opportunity to explore creating handiwork to benefit others in need and pursue
personal projects while enjoying fellowship.
This project will provide finished items to members of the congregation and local community, clients of Nursing Homes, the Rescue Mission, the Refugee Center, Veterans' Hospitals, Project Linus, and others.
The group is currently focusing its efforts
on crocheted, knitted, and hand-loomed items. Projects underway include
winter hats, lapghans, baby blankets, baby booties, prayer shawls, and pillows.
No experience is necessary to join the group.
It is open to anyone of any age interested in our mission. Visitors from outside the congregation are encouraged to attend.
Our next session will be held Monday, September TBD, 2016; 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
Join us in worship, led by Pastor David C. Green, on Sunday mornings. Adult Sunday School begins at 9:45 AM and is followed by Worship at 10:30 AM. An opportunity to enjoy fellowship is available after the service. We hope to see you soon!
